It was announced today that gord downie of the tragically hip has terminal brain cancer. The band will be doing a farewell tour this summer. Horrible news downie and the hip are oconic canadian artists with big roots in hockey. Terrible news.

I saw a documentary not too long ago on HBO about using viruses to fight off cancers. They took patients that were terminal and they would receive genitically engineered viruses like measles, smallpox, HIV and even the cold virus. They would attack the cancer cells and virtually eleominate them, leaving healthy cells alone. The survival rate , and remember, these were terminal patients was over 85%!! There was one woman who had brain cancer, big tumour visible on her skull , she received the measles virus injected directly into the brain. Within 2 weeks, no more tumour was to be found.
Why can't we explore this further?
There is a chance here and he shouldn't have to die without exploring this treatment.

Sorry 20 years from now they will still be talking about a cure that will never come, it big business, way too much money involved, way too many people would be put out of work If there was a cure approved by the FDA, too many people benefitting from cancer.. Cures have been discovered then shelved, go try and buy apricot seed in the USA, why have they made such an effort to scare people away from "apricot seeds/B17/laetrile", a doctors is caught using it loose there licence, can and will be sent to jail, the hospital he worked at can have all there funding pulled, listed in US medical journals as poison. There are things out there, they just get rid of them, wonder how the trials on dandelion root will turn out, Hmmm grows every ware, can't patient it, so you can't make money on it, we will never know. |

I hear this argument all the time that the pharmaceutical companies won't ever let a cure for cancer be unleashed. They would lose too much money, yadda yadda.
As plausible as that sounds, and most agree with that, then why on Earth do we continue to pour money into cancer research?? It makes no sense to continue to do that if this is what they are doing.

I hear this argument all the time that the pharmaceutical companies won't ever let a cure for cancer be unleashed. They would lose too much money, yadda yadda. As plausible as that sounds, and most agree with that, then why on Earth do we continue to pour money into cancer research?? It makes no sense to continue to do that if this is what they are doing. Because the ball is rolling and they can't stop it, this is way bigger than many of us can comprehend. I truly believe there should be a halt to the funding until they can prove that this is for the betterment of man kind, and not for someone bettering their bank account. If you don't like the argument do a little reading on laetrile b17 than tell me the FDA is looking out for our best interest. Years ago my friend was given 6 months to live at the ST. B. Hospital, he went to Mexico got on laetrile 3 years later was still alive and looked like a million bucks than the Government stopped letting it be shipped into Canada 6 weeks later he was dead. |

My dad who has a lung disease similar to COPD but worse, well last December they found a spot, when he got back from Mexico in March it was determined as stage 3 lung cancer. The odds are pretty crappy below 10% so as the treatments started to beat the crap out of him I convinced him to start a CBD/THC treatment (Cannabis Oil), Harvard university said they were shrinking tumors in 3 weeks with the THC. My dad got his results yesterday no sign of cancer. When he told the doctors what he had been taking all they said was keep doing it......
Things are out there, white coats are not the be all end all they can only give you what they are give, do your research use commons sence!
Yesterday was a good day!

When I worked for Sik**sky in Pennsylvania, Pfz*er ordered a 50 million dollar helicopter to fly thier executives around.
That was one sweet helicopter.... Yes it's all about the money.

Now that the doctors know he is taking it I told my parents to get a licence for it so I don't get in trouble one day. He is not out of the woods yet, still has to do 10 rounds of radiation to the brain something they do after lung cancer treatment, and get back on his feet from all the poison/Chemo they gave him. Can't say 100% it was the pot oil but you look at what the odds of success are in so called conventional treatment then read the study from Harard University on THC and lung cancer and how they were shrinking tumors in 3 weeks. They can't explain why it works but the do say if you get lung cancer start taking THC, also old study's show THC is also good for COPD! |
