I was at the Winnipeg show and Kingston show, it was great. I regretted not seeing the Eagles when I had the chance and now I'll never see them. Didn't want that to happen with the Hip.

Not seeing the Hip live when I definitely had chances, is something I'll live to regret. Some men shine in the face of adversity, and some men crumble. Gord Downie just cemented his legacy of not only one of the best Canadian singers of all time, but one of the greatest Canadians, with that concert. First place I saw them was at an RRCC beer bash of all places...a show touted as "the last time you'll see them in this kind of venue". She (the organizer) was sure right about that. It was to promote Up To Here; it was a good show from what I can remember (it was a beer bash after all). I saw them one other time...can't remember the tour, Day for Night I think; it was good, especially since there were a lot of songs from 3 of the first 4 albums in the mix. And yeah, nothing but respect and admiration for Downie pushing himself to do this tour.

I'm wondering if he is trying any unconventional treatments or has he put his total faith in the white coats?
