I doubt this will get even temporarily resolved until late November

Go Chevy! Let the brat sit for the year. My inclination is that Overhardt will get a bridge deal before Dec. 1 because Trouba wants to recoup the lost money from the beginning of the season and finish the season being paid. The relationship with this franchise and the people is not repairable. Some deal will occur to trade him likely before the trade deadline when teams desperate to make the playoffs start wheeling and dealing or a team's season is over and they're looking for changes. Otherwise it will be on draft day next year. In the meantime:

If he moves now, or before December, we can forget aboyt him and move on. However, moving on in this city is not something we're good at. RE: Kane.

If we can't make the playoffs without Trouba then chances are we wouldn't make the playoffs anyway. I don't see him as that big a game changer. I'm 100% behind the stance the Jets have taken so far.

Trouba, Burmistrov and Enstrom for Fowler, Manson, and Cogliano.

Trouba, Burmistrov and Enstrom for Fowler, Manson, and Cogliano. Not enough for me to make that trade.

I continue to agree with the way this is being handled. Immediately granting his wishes just if plain bad business, we have many more RFA's coming up and we can't let the temper-tantrums get rewarded. I continue to expect a bridge deal

I assure you the only reason he hasn't been traded is because of the offer. There's no chance Chevy is turning down exactly what he wants
Pierre Maguire reported today that a GM has made a solid offer for Trouba, which was a young forward and a young winger. GMs aren't in the habit of offering two really good or elite players for one. That tells us he was offered 2 meh players, which is why we don't see a trade.

Enstrom has been playing pretty good for us right now. Not sure trading away a D man is a good move anyway considering how inept the back is for us at the moment.

Approaching the 10th game! Go Chevy Go! Or rather: please let him sit for a long, long time...
