When you have a team playing as well as the Jets are, especially the last 2 games in Florida, why mess with the lineup?
True, it would be nice to get Vilardi slotted back in, but there's also no need to rush him back right now.
Alas, it seems like he could maybe play if needed but he is not expected to play tonight.
Dillon suspected to be nursing an LBI, although that was not enough to keep him out of last game, not to mention a spirited, dominant scrap with Reinhart...so he may be a game time decision.
Chisholm has been recalled from his condioning stint with the Moose. If Dillon cannot go, it will likely be Stanley; but could be Chisholm? (Likely Stanley, who needs the ice time.)
Jets have won 5 in a row, Predators have won 4 in a row, so this game will likely be closer than the standings would suggest.
Brossoit scheduled to start.
From Illegal Curve:
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Connor - Scheifele - Iafallo Perfetti - Namestnikov - Ehlers Niederreiter - Lowry - Appleton Barron - Gustafsson - Jonsson-Fjallby
Morrissey - DeMelo Dillon/Stanley - Pionk Samberg - Schmidt
Brossoit Hellebuyck
Go Jets Go!

GO JETS GO, get the win in regulation time👍! Can’t afford to be gifting any points at all to Nashville/a Central Division rival. Get the win Jets, make it 6 wins in a row👍!

Just announced, Dillon is a game time decision, if Dillon is out, whom comes in? Stanley? Or, Chisholm? We shall see. Cheers, 2b9😃👍

There is a risk of a letdown after the emotional return of Bowness last game plus road fatigue.

There is a risk of a letdown after the emotional return of Bowness last game plus road fatigue. Hard to say, although I get what you are saying. In my opinion, I don’t think that there will be a let down. Can’t let road fatigue be an excuse, every other NHL team has to deal with it. If you are a good/great contending team, you will get through it as the professional hockey players that you are, hopefully I am correct on that👍. Cheers, 2b9😃👍

Didn't think Perfetti could get a shot off there, but he got a good one!

Preds are giving the Jets all they can handle now. Looks to be an up-an-down game.

A bit slow out of the gate initially, but the Jets have picked up the tempo and have controlled most of the play since. Now if someone could hit the wide open nets.

Just like everywhere else in the NHL, economics of our current world. And yes, some teams still selling out.
