for a succwsful playoff drive a couple improvements needed? Like Vladdy but not a finisher thats needed? A mean Dillon type defencemas with more offence and then we are good to go? Heinola may or may not be that guy! Agreed on a tough top 4 dman. Chychrun may be good enough as he'd help the PP and he's not a smurf. I believe he can play the right side too. All depends on price. Dobson from NYI would also be great but isles probably wouldn't trade him. Hanifin is a UFA could be a nice target. I think if you improve the D more to handle playoffs the O will be sufficient. If anything you find a cheap vet that can help out when needed. We all hate Cory Perry but.... We donโt need Chych, heโs a left handed shot. Ottawa will be asking too much for him. And, he is not better than what we currently have, Iโll pass on him. He is also overrated. We need a NATURAL Right Handed Shot D-Man. And no to Perry, too much baggage. Just my thoughts, all respect to you on your thoughts. Cheers, Cheers, 2b9๐๐๐

He also has size in comparison to Demelo which you need in the playoffs. He has played right D. There are surely other options but he'd be good. No one likes Perry but fact is he has an edge and has played a lot of tough playoff games. Would help PP and at this point little cost. It's all about winning a cup.

I hear ya, Iโm just on the fence regarding those 2 that are mentioned, Iโm not convinced on those 2, cost on Chych: probably too high. Perry, he makes me nervous based on his past, not sure that he fits the Jets culture and locker-room, and whom does he displace once we are a healthy team? Bottom line, Perry makes me nervous. Chych will cost too much. Once again, just my thoughts, feelings and opinions. And again, I respect full heartedly your thoughts and opinions. Cheers, 2b9๐

After Ehlers OT winner Chychrun will need a new jock before he goes anywhere. As someone here mentioned, he may be a tad over rated. The last thing this team needs is Perry in this dressing room. ABSOLUTELY NO TO PERRY.

I forgot to mention, last nights game was the 14th consecutive game played by the Jets where they allowed 2 goals or less against.
This is on top of the 34 consecutive games played allowing 3 goals or less against.
Cheers,

Boston is going to be a really good test for the Jets tomorrow/Monday evening.
If the Jets beat Boston in Boston, I will be very impressed along with everyone else being just as impressed.

I watch post game interviews with captions activated so I can hear/read the questions better. The AI generated captions are often a golden source of amusement. Here Bones declares Ehlers the elite popsicle. I shall forever remember this! (btw - the actual words were "puck skills")

With the Jets having faded in the past few games, the Bad News Bears will be a good test. I would feel more optimistic with Scheifele in the lineup, but as the saying goes, "You go to war with the army you have, not with the army you want".

I hear ya๐. ๐คThis is just a thought on my part, all good/great teams have bad games, the key though is winning, good/great teams find ways to win when they are not at their best, the Jets last night were not at their best, however, the Jets found a way to win the game.

You can stop right there. Corey Perry has just signed with the Oilers. They deserve each other. Maybe he can buddy up with Evander- birds of a feather and all that.
