Corey Perry has just signed with the Oilers. They deserve each other. Maybe he can buddy up with Evander- birds of a feather and all that. It’s going to be interesting to see what he brings to the Oilers. He definitely brings gritt and playoff experience. Not sure if he has any Offense left in him, I believe that his best days are behind him. Where does he slot in on the Oilers, definitely not on their top 6, obviously it’s on their bottom 6, with that being said, does he actually make the Oilers better? Time will tell. The other question is, and it’s a serious question, his baggage, has that been cleaned up? Cheers, 2b9😉😃👍

Maybe Ottawa is better than we thought they were. Yesterday's bottom feeder beat the Flers 5-3. 🤔

Maybe Ottawa is better than we thought they were. Yesterday's bottom feeder beat the Flers 5-3. 🤔 Yep👍. So, after last night, Ottawa flew to Philly after we beat them in overtime, and, today’s game against Philly was an afternoon game. And, initially they were behind to the Flyers 2-0 by the end of the first period, good on Ottawa. So, I don’t feel so bad about yesterday’s result, Ottawa is a better team than most people think. Cheers, 2b9😉😃👍

Hey ekjet72:
On any given day, any team can beat any team as witnessed today, that’s why there’s 82 games!
Good for Ottawa, they needed that win👍.

Agreed on a tough top 4 dman. Chychrun may be good enough as he'd help the PP and he's not a smurf. I believe he can play the right side too. All depends on price. Dobson from NYI would also be great but isles probably wouldn't trade him. Hanifin is a UFA could be a nice target. I think if you improve the D more to handle playoffs the O will be sufficient. If anything you find a cheap vet that can help out when needed. We all hate Cory Perry but.... You can stop right there. Haha don't get me wrong I don't love the guy just turning over stones. Fans were talking about cheap options and obviously the oilers agreed. Whether you like the guy or not he can play wherever you need him add grit and help the PP. Hopefully he flops now that he's a coiler! As per RHD if you sift through lower teams there aren't many decent options. Perhaps some more teams will drop out but there is a shortage of big RHD. I'm just concerned that the top pairing will get beat up like in the past once playoffs start. Jets also don't need Dillon having to fight that often. Plus he can't protect Morrissey and Demelo certainly can't...
