or any where hockey is considered to be relevant!!!! How dare you!!! You actually want them to finish last. That is way to nice! That means they get the first overall pick (well good chance of it). We want them to finish 3rd last at best. Id prefer if they were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs early but go on a winning streak at the end to finish 9th or 10th.

Hey man, I don't mind seeing Quebec get first draft pick.

Ok I'm not a photo shop expert here but Im sure theres a way someone who is good at that could make a good joke out of this. Maybe replace the est 1996 with "Of being irrelevant"

Other than making bucks off hockey starved fans who have nothing else to do in the winter besides shovel, the Jets will prove irrelevant for the next few years as far as the hockey standings go. You can brag about all the money the team makes (as do the multi-decade loser Chicago Cubs) and how excited the fanbase is (as is the Chicago Cubs fanbase), and you can get all excited about spending more on your beer and food and tickets than I do in my row 7 corner full season seats.
But as far as relevancy goes, it's the Jets who will struggle to stay points better than last place Eastern loser Ottowa, while the Yotes battle once more for a playoff spot.
Enjoy loving your team and thinking all other teams find you relevant rather than an easy 2 points.
Hockey in the hottest state in the country has been around for 15 years. And hopefully our inexpensive and easy to get tix, and our empty seats, will continue to irk you for another 15 years.

We also do lots more then shovel snow here in the winter, we play hockey, ice fish, concerts, movies, festivals and when we really get board we go to Arizona and buy up homes that have been for closed on and rent them back to other Arizonans, or we share them with our friends, same as some of us do with our season tickets. They don't call this friendlily Manitoba for nothing, so one day buy a passport hop a plane and see for yourself, instead of shooting off the cuff at Winnipeg all the time. I will be in Mesa in March for 10 days on spring break watching my son play baseball, maybe we could discuss how big a Craphole you think Winnipeg is in person, I'm game.

I currently own 6 homes in Pheonix. I'm thinking of getting a couple more this year too. Maybe as a secret Santa gifts or stocking stuffers for the kids.

First off I just want to say, if your prices and empty seats stay the same way, there is just no chance you will have a team to irk us with for 15 more years. I assume you were saying that somewhat tongue in cheek, but I just couldn't let it go. You are the reason why I'm so sad to see the "Smite" feature gone... I was excited to see how long it would take you to get to -100! But alas, that dream is dead. I'm trying to figure out what/how 2 internet forum users can have a good bet, so someone help me out with ideas. But I would really like to see you put your money (or dignity, or something) where your mouth is about the Coyotes. I guarantee you the Jets will finish higher in the standings.

The Yotes will be dreadful, absolutley terrible. They are a very strong contender for the first overall pick next year. There is no chance they make playoffs this year. Hopefully you stick around through the season so we can all tell you, "Told you so".

I love how our last years team didn't come close to last place. They got the 7th overall pick so we didn't do great but we didn't do Oiler bad. Yet somehow we will be the worst team in the league according to todd. Our team was the talk of the league up until Christmas because we were first in our division.
Do I expect them to finish first. No I don't, but to say they will battle for last is ridiculous.
I love how you admit you will have cheap empty seats for the next 15 years though. I agree with you...well except for the 15 years part. Ill be surprised if you even have a team next year.

The hilariously cheap and un valuable Coyotes tickets dont as much irk us as they amuse us. They should irk you since there one of the MANY MANY MANY reasons why your team has yet to make a penny. Oh and we'll see how the Coyotes do in their hunt for a playoff spot
