And I am an Ugly American who insists on multiple typos in each posting. So enjoy those above. It's like a game: figure out what Todd REALLY mean to say with the word 'ego' etc. Todd plus IPhone autocorrect equals chaos. -TODD LOL, I like Todd! I am glad you are a passionate fan, I wish there were lots more of you in Phoenix. I believe that the Jets will have more points than Phoenix this year. The loss of Bryz is really going to hurt. We shall see. Todd being a 'passionate fan' apparently annoys a number of people here who somehow feel that being a passionate fan is the root of the problem in Glendale. They don't seem to understand that it's a LACK of fans that's the problem.... Keep it up Todd as that's what makes rivalries so much fun.

But as far as relevancy goes, it's the Jets who will struggle to stay points better than last place Eastern loser Ottowa, while the Yotes battle once more for a playoff spot. And you'll LOSE that battle... LA, SJ, and my beloved ANA... The California teams--ie, the GOOD Western Expansion teams, unlike your sorry mistake of a franchise, as howlingly-horrible as that pathetic logo of yours...the poor thing just LOOKS like it needs to be put down, doesn't it?--will finally put the Yotes out of EVERYONE'S misery. Er, sorry-- Everyone's misery, except the 200 Yotes fans who are so desperate to garner any respect at all for their disgrace of a franchise that the troll other teams' boards beating their chest and going on about how wonderful hockey is in the desert. I LIVE in the desert...ANA and LA are IN the desert... THAT is good hockey in the desert-- Your team just can't handle the heat, and so shall suffer the final defeat. LA, SJ, ANA, CHI, DET, NSH, VAN, DAL... QUEBEC NORDIQUES:EST. 1972, REVIVED 2012
PHOENIX COYOTES:

A Ducks fan mocking the Yotes logo? That is funny. Man, that awesome duck foot just instills fear and admiration in any team.
You talk about the Ducks, Kings and Sharks putting the Yotes out of their playoff hoping misery? Ummm, did you watch hockey last season? Those three teams AND the Yotes made the playoffs last year. Ducks and Yotes both had 99 points and Kings had 98. Wow, sure taught the Yotes a lesson. It was Detroit and Bryz who put them out of their misery, not those who share the Pacific.
See you at the Duck Pond on 10/23. (and 10/21 when they play Dallas).
Oh, and LA/Anaheim? That ain't the desert. Not compared to AZ: try being landlocked and above 110 degrees without a drop of rain for 4 straight months.

Sucks to be them.

Not compared to AZ: try being landlocked and above 110 degrees without a drop of rain for 4 straight months. -TODD I'll take a Duck's foot stepping all over your team rather than that moaning logo...hell, I'll even take our script over that logo--at least basic>pitiful. As for the playoffs...ya know, I wouldn't want to kick your poor Coyote's face when it's clearly down, so I'll leave playoff success alone in this argument, and just leave the California Team's playoff success sitting there, unstated, as I take a drink (now, wehre did I put that Cup of mine...) Yes, all 4 made the playoffs... Sharks-Kings: Played each other, Sharks won in a good series. Ducks: Lost in a 6-game heart-breaker, but at least they WON A GAME. Yotes: Swept by the Wings as the whole hoickey world laughed. Yeah--you're a regular powerhouse of a team! (Oh, and how IS Bryz these days? You know the goaltender you've been banging on about who left the Coyotes because he couldn't stand playing there? At least when he left the Ducks it was because the Ducks were so good at goaltender he'd have to be the #2 man behind good ol' J.S. Giguere, and Giguere was our man, and now Hiller is. And then we have the rest of your roster... The DUCKS have the best line in hockey, Ryan-Getzlaf-Perry, one of the best second-lines in hockey with HOFer and ICONIC DUCK--that's right, see, there are actually players and careers people associate with the Ducks, we, um, well, actually have had GOOD players and an IDENITY and fans to actually CARE about that identity...so has Winnipeg...I knowl, cool how hockey fans can actually care that way, right?--Teemu Selanne assisted by old friend Saku Koivu...Visnovsky and Parros from the blue line...Fowler as one of the rookie All-Stars last year...and oh yes, Jonas Hiller, the goalie named to start the All-Star Game. And even AFTER he went down for the season and the Ducks lost one of the best goalies in the game, they STILL managed to make the playoffs and beat the Yotes in the standings! But yes, go on about how wonderful your team is...see you the 23rd, it's gonna be a fun one (for me and all the jets fans here, anyway.) Oh-- And the LA/Anaheim basin, where I live, IS a desert by definition, it's a valley-desert by geographical definition, with the temperature where I live fluctuating from 100s in the middle of summer--THAT counts as desert-weather, right?--and 20s in the middle of winter... And GASP! sometimes we even get a small flurry of something I think is called "snow"... I don't know much about it, except that Canadians know all about it and its sort of like Magical Hockey Fairy Dust... That is, IT ONLY FALLS IN THE AREAS HOCKEY IS MEANT TO BE. It falls all over Canada...the birthplace of hockey... It falls all over the Northeast...where the majority of teams are... It falls all over the North and Northwest, where Winnipeg is... It EVEN falls over Southern California in sprinkles for a day or two most years... Whereas PHOENIX--according to perfect seach-engine Wikipedia, but backed by the National Weather Registry--hasn't had snowfall since 1939, and the area hasn't had it, despite some false claims of it falling, since 1985. So even sunny Southern California is a little hockey-worthy... PHOENIX is just a burn out.

I too fail to grasp the furor over Todd's ongoing commentary. He's a passionate fan of a team sorely lacking those - all the power to him. I'm sure his posts here are FAR less inflammatory than the trolling many Jets "supporters" posted on various Coyotes forums last year. As long as it stays "in bounds"...rivalries are fun. Giver.

Thanks, gang, I ain't going anywhere. Just signed up for my Gamecenter package so I can keep track of how my old Devils ate doing an peek in on some Jets games as we progress through the season that will result in more points for the Yotes.
Oh, and of course, to check in on my good friend Bryzgalov: hoping he has a 2.00 GA average while Flyers lose all games 2-1 to teach them a lesson on paying through the nose for a goalie while giving up offense to fit him under the cap. Second scenario: to hell with my liking Bryz.....may he start earning those Phila Phan boos as soon as possible!

Yotes finish behind the Jets in points by double digits. Guaranteed. 4 of those courtesy of your beloved Coyotes.

The Coyotes are currently being spanked 6-2 by the Sharks and were outshot 19-4 in the first period. This team may get the #1 pick.
It is scary when an AHL calibre team with ECHL level goaltending and midget hockey sized home crowds plays in the NHL.

What a shock; Yotes get asses kicked by one of the best teams in hockey and here comes the first season-ending post (above). I guess we shouldn't play the next 81 games.
This was not Smith's loss: our defense was terrible in front of him, and our office was missing passes and handing breakaways like they were candy. If it was Smith's poor play, Tip would have pulled him after 2 periods and down 6-1.
Nothing good to say about my guys tonight. Those two PP goals to make it 6-3 were meaningless. Even the God Bryz would have lost this one. Shake it off and on to Dallas.
Look forward to watching your Jets opener tomorrow. Look forward to rooting for them to enjoy a similar loss. Unfortunately, the Canadians are not the Sharks.

Hey, Dick Deadeye, er, Scott thedoh...
Why not put your trolling where your clap-trap is?
Jets win tomorrow:
Post from you on how superior Winnipeg is as a city and franchise to your sorry-as-all-hell Yotes.
