I'm not complaining, but I would not have thought, being the new team, that we would have gotten so many fewer national games than everyone else.

At least they should all be broadcast locally. Sucks for anyone outside of the region, though

It seems pretty strange to me, considering all the goodwill and interest from around the hockey world. I would think that we would at least be on par with the rest of the Canadian teams.

The link is showing me a blank page, so I have to guess as to why there are so few Jets games. My thinking is that Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver are all in the same division, so when they play each other its like killing two birds with one stone, it doubles the number of games they are telvised in. The same is true for Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa (plus lets face it, Toronto and Montreal always get more televised games). As for the Winnipeg Jets, they are currently in a division that no one really cares about (except for Ovi's team). So since no one cares about the teams the Jets are playing, they sort of only get half the audience. I think its got more to do with the division the Jets are in this coming season. There should be a lot more nationally televised games after this season when the team is in the same Division as Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.

I just need em to be on in the Peg. The hinderence for us getting national games probably has something to do with the limited number of games we will have against Canadian teams.

As a southern hoockey fan I beleive that this blaming of being in a division no one cares about is crap. I mena how could Tampa Bay made the upset they did if no one cared abotu them? There are tons of fans of this division, it is not its fault there are not many games being broadcasted. It's just that the Jets are a new team.
