You can't doubt the guys heart, but WTF is Buck Pierce made of?
And second, it's time to release him and give Brink the job!!

I was at the game. Pierce got zero protection from the o-line. Having said that, Brink realized this and was passing the ball quickly. Just a terrible game all around. On the bright side, Desmond Washington is a fantastic returner.

On the bright side, Desmond Washington is a fantastic returner. Sure, but protection or no protection, harmless looking hits continue to knock Pierce out of games. Our Offense can't ever find a groove when their QB is different day to day. And yes, Washington is a bullet! He should turn some games around for sure.

Brink and Elliott are both more than ready. I'm sure the Bombers pretty much banked on Pierce getting injured badly at some point in the season....but THIS early?!

it is strange since it did not look that bad on tv . what happen ? did any one see a replay that showed his knee go side ways or hyper extend ?

The only injury Buck has had as a Bomber that was obvious was his hyper extended elbow. Everything else seems phantom, if I recall correctly.

he has guts and makes plays, does not have good instincts to staying out of trouble, i like watching the guy he is the short term guy, played in the GC last year and has this year to try and get back

You are only as good as the games you play in and it isn't looking like we are going to have many with Pierce. Don't get me wrong, they guy is awesome but he's more injury prone than Crosby. We need to get something done I want a Grey Cup this year.

He'll likely start on Friday, according to LaPolice.....and then get injured.
