So Pierce goes down......AGAIN! SERIOUSLY! Link? Link? You apparently can't say squat around here unless you have a link. Until you give us the link, your contention that Buck went down is just an opinion! It's going to be a long season, folks. Oh well, only six months until NHL hockey starts again. m.

I was busy watching exciting IHL action! Including the newfangled shootout, or as the marketing department in the "I" called it: "The Rogaine Hair Raising Finish". m.

I forgot about the quirky IHL. I certainly did follow the Moose right from 1996 to 2011. I even have a Randy Gilhen Moose jersey, a 2002 AHL Moose jersey and a 2011 green road jersey, which is my favourite of all the Moose jerseys. Who could forget such great IHL Moose as Greg Pankewicz and Dan Kesa?

Pankewicz became famous after a 19 February 2011 game between the Eagles and the Mississippi River Kings. Enraged by the referee, he stripped half naked on the players' bench, throwing his suit, shirt and shoes on the ice before exiting shirtlessen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Pankewicz

I had no idea he was in the Jets system. As for his actions behind the bench, I am certainly not surprised. Not much has changed with him, I see!

there was only one time, and i mean one time that i actually got out of my seat because of a play by the Moose. it was by the russian guy that ended up with San Jose. he was special, but i dont think he plays anymore. the best memory of mine at a moose game was ( and i couldnt even tell you who they were playing) going to the bar. they had a special that night. come to the bar, get a ticket to the game. drink mooseheads at the bar for 2 bucks, a shuttle to the game with more mooseheads and mooseheads at the game, all served to us by the waitresses from the bar. then, back on the shuttle to the bar. i was messed right up!...a GREAT NIGHT! dont know who won, didnt care and THAT was the best Moose game I ever attended.

My best Moose game that I attended was when we beat the Rochester Americans to go to the conference final. The house was packed and it was the first time I'd seen the crowd at a Moose game get worked up.
The Calder Cup finals was cool too. Wish we had won it. I'd wager Winnipeg would have been the only city to have won the Stanley Cup, Avco Cup, and Calder Cup. Heck, I'd have been happy to have seen a Turner Cup at the old barn.

I've always wondered if Winnipeg would have had a parade. My best Moose game memory...well, seeing that I live in Vancouver, I've only been to one Moose game vs. the Abbotsford Heat...and it was pre-season. Still, I got to see Mike Keane, which was pretty cool. And, of course, the crowd was pro-Moose since they were the Canucks' farm team. But that run to the Calder Cup final was magical. That would be my favourite overall Moose memory.

My favorite AHL moment was seeing the IceCaps take two playoff games here!! (Though I missed the one with Benny Max's OT winner due to a headache) And the double-OT game, even though we lost, was epic and tiring. Plus I got my JETS jersey signed! (Melchiori, Clark, O'Dell, Rosa, Kulda, and Gregoire if memory serves)
