Its different, which doesnt mean its bad. I like it. I'd pay to see Canada vs USA if they did a tour just as Im interested in going to Canada vs USA soccer and I hate soccer.

Congrates on the win, and good luck vs Sweden. Love Olympic hockey, but truthfully I want the NHL back starting. Of course that might have something to do with the fact I am going to be making the 12hour trek north to catch my first Jets game on the 27th!!!!! Can't wait.

As a Sweden fan, I ain't even scared. As long as we stay out of the box...which has been a problem all tournament especially against Latvia
There's no team I loathe more than Team Canada...time to have the ghost of Peter Forsberg lend us a hand!
HEJA SVERIGE!!

Never said it was bad, just not my cup a tea, and that would go double for soccer, men's or women's, but if they paid me I'd go!

Impressive ballsy win for the canadians. they showed a lot of poise.
Though it leaves me wondering how close are we to getting over that hump now? not really sure
Unfortunately USA finishes in a way that leaves me wondering if the management and coaching was up to par. I think we have the players to be competitive but beating canada has to be the bench mark going forwards. The formula hasnt been figured out yet. We have seen growth and improvement at every level but olympic games remains stagnant, stuck with 1 team we cant beat. Leaves me wondering.
The canadian coaching is damn good, Claude's influence was all over that win. 1-0 score and suffocate. im impressed that canada was able to play such a team style with that many stars.

I think we need to find a way for pro womans sports but that loses the need to make a profit...so essentially a charitable tax break money dump. Id watch the Lady bruins...momma bears lol

The Good news for you is, the US has 10x the population, so if the country ever decides to commit to the sport, it will be yours. But for now, our tiny population continues to enjoy success at many levels.

I am so excited about this game. I hope this game is going to be super exciting. I had a feeling that Canada and Sweden would end up being gold medal game. I am still debating if I want to wake up at four am to watch the game. I'm thinking it's a once every four year thing. I think it's stellar that bars are allowed to be open and able to serve beer, no whiskeys or anything though. Watch the game with people.
Anyone else having to get up real crazy early to watch the game, or going to?

But for now, our tiny population continues to enjoy success at many levels. when you look at the big hockey states, the populations are close to canada if not more. NY, NJ, Penn, MA and all of New england, Michigan, Minnesota, The dakotas, alaska, wisconsin. good news is more players are coming out of california and texas. I will say we have been more successful at all levels except for winning olympic gold. i think the outlook is decent, the management is poor, but huge issue i have is development at certain positions (center). canada is dedicated to one sport...so we cant get there but we are still pretty decent. Im nottoo mad about this from the player perspective just management.
