Westwood - The clown who states with no hesitation that "100% of the time, you have to pass the puck on a 2 - 0 breakaway with an empty net." The guy is a tool, whether or not he made the stupid a$$ comment about Ladd. could not agree more...did you see how Jokinen almost blew it last night by trying to "set up" someone else?....WRONG again westwood....his misguided opinions are so far off the mark that, while he used to be slightly off base, now he is simply laughable as a hockey reporter

some players would put the team in front of family, I would respect that player for doing that to, there is no right or wrong here. You'd respect it, but it would still be the wrong decision in your opinion. No not at all, I'm the kind of person if I was Ladd I'd probably be at the game, but hating myself for it, but it's a personnel decision and NO ONE has the right to comment or pass judgement on it.

He's an uneducated idiot. Being a kicker for the Bombers, in yesterdays CFL of 20 years ago, is as about as pro athlete as beer league teams at the Highlander calling themselves pro athletes. If he'd had missed the 2001 Grey Cup for family reasons, than the Bombers would have won. He's not a Bomber great. He's a bum. Doug Berry finally had enough of his nonsense, long hair, tap dancing, trying to be a country music singer, selling cars at Crown Acura, thinking he was an amateur boxer, and had the good sense to send him out on his ass... As soon as kickers started to be seen as actual skilled athletes, Westwood's days were done. When he was let go from the Bombers, how many teams lined up for his talented services? ZERO. I hope True North bans him from any privileges/press box for TSN 1290 personalities. His comments were pretty personal, and about one of their own AND his family. It's really no debate on who's right and who's wrong when you have a fired punter Troy Westwood saying what he thinks, and the entire professional hockey world, players, journalists, on air personalities, all completely disagreeing with him... I've yet to see one single comment from someone in the business agree with his BS statements. He's a fu*ken idiot. You should try to do a little research or watch a game before you open your mouth. Westwood 100% did not cost the Grey Cup game. He was 1 for 4 on his field goals. That means he missed 3. On two of them he got single points. That means at best he could have got was 2 more points on those two and 3 on the other for a total of 7 points. We lost by 8. So even if Westwood was a perfect 4 for 4 we still lose. I guess you never watched the Grey Cup because you would have noticed two of the missed field goals were from 49 and 54 yards. Not exactly easy kicks. Not addressed to you but also Westwood never played for the Winnipeg Fury, he declined to play for them as football paid much more.
