Anyone surprised? dailycaller.com/2017/10/02/cbs-legal-exec-no-sympathy-because-country-music-fans-often-are-republican/A top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold, said she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims of the shooting at a country music festival at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas Sunday night. “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” wrote Geftman-Gold on Facebook, perhaps referring to Sandy Hook. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.” Tolerant liberal, enlightened individual. m.

I wonder if at any point in the future, people will look back any say, "I can't believe how many mass shootings we, as Americans, allowed, before we brought in gun control ."
What a bunch of tools.
I saw a great tweet yesterday. Gun ownership is a right, but healthcare to help the 500+ that are wounded is a privelage.

You would think after what had just happened, the "protest" could take a break for a week

Please read why many feel disrespect - it has everything to do with the flag and veterans.

Yeah I am aware, but they are feeling disrespected because they seem to think the players don't appreciate or care what they do, which isn't the case (and have said so themselves). How would you like them to get their message across about police brutality and inequality?

Well for one, Kaepernick could have used all the media attention to garner support for people to vote for those he believed could change the way things are, but instead, kapernick chose not to even bother to vote

How would you like them to get their message across about police brutality and inequality? well but that is the point isn't it? the players don't seem to know who they are hurting when they protest during the playing and flying of very symbols of democracy and freedom that give them the right to protest any other time of the day...they are selfish and disrespectful and, in my opinion, stupid. If these players feel strongly about an issue, do it the right way. Even that moron that started it all, Kapernick, is now doing it the right way by spending his money on groups he feels are worthy and educating kids with social media and public visits so good for him for endeavoring to do things the right way. I am no expert in protesting nor can I advise anyone how to do it. What I will say is that protesting the flag and the anthem are the wrong way to do it. Interesting that it is becoming so divisive that the people they may be protesting in this way may only strengthening their resolve and increase the incidence of horrible hate crimes.
