It would be nice to see the Jets give Vegas their first regulation loss of the season tonight/Thursday.
It’s bound to happen for Vegas to finally lose in regulation time, why not tonight with the Jets defeating Vegas in regulation time!
GO JETS GO👍!
Get the win tonight/Thursday night, GO JETS GO, beat Vegas in regulation time👍!

Looks like today's Manitoba Moose game just got a lot more interesting as the Winnipeg Jets have loaned Declan Chisholm to their AHL affiliate for a conditioning stint. He joins Dominic Toninato, who was previously sent down and also goaltender Thomas Milic, who has been called up from the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals after starting with a 4-0-1 record, a .901 save %, & 2.36 GAA.
All three will be dressed for this afternoon's game vs the Laval Rocket, but Milic seems slotted as the back up today. That could mean that he gets his first AHL start tomorrow for the oddly scheduled 10:30 am game.

You learn something new every day. I had no idea there was this option to avoid waivers. Is there a maximum number of times a team can do this with an individual player, and can he be brought back up at any time?
Makes me wonder if they could do a loan with Stanley to get him some games. Educate me please, bigol.

I always noticed that the news would indicate that the Toronto Maple Leafs were always "loaning" players to the Marlies, rather than sending them through waivers so that is when I discovered conditioning loans.
These loans do not actually require a player to be coming back from an injury, but they can only be done with the player's consent. The rules say the stints cannot be longer than 14 calendar days and the move has absolutely no impact on the salary cap situation. By that I mean, the player still earns an NHL salary that is paid by the NHL team and the players' contract is still included in the NHL team's cap situation.
The rule was initially mainly used for backup goalies to get some game action when the NHL tended to ride their starters for the vast majority of games.
So maybe Stanley won't accept the demotion or the Jets don't think he would get anything from it.
***I think the move was pre-empted by the news that Moose captain & left defenseman Jimmy Oligny needs surgery on his knee and Chisholm can fill his spot for a bit while getting some playing time.***

Jets need to take advantage of a Devils team missing Hischier & Jack Hughes tonight. Their tending is struggling statistically similar to the Jets, so could be a battle of the offenses tonight.

Yeah, I think 3 x 4.5 would be no brainer...4 years maybe iffy but if that's the sweetener needed, I think go for it!
