I suspect they may ease him in a game or two on line 4 (and the PP) and back he goes to line 1. Iaffallo has been good but Valardi needs to be up at the top While I agree that Vilardi needs to play in the top 6, I'm not sure he needs to go on the top line. Iafallo has been playing an important role as a puck retriever and also helped the line be better defensively. Maybe Vilardi can do that too, but why mess with something that is working just to find out? To me, it's Namestnikov who's skill doesn't really relate to top 6 minutes, even though he has good chemistry with Perfetti and Ehlers. That means I would try either Perfetti or Vilardi as the 2nd line center when the latter is fully up to speed and Ehlers filling out the line. Namestnikov would be a boost for the 4th line, cause the Jets aren't breaking up the Lowry line anytime soon. At least, that's my take.

Agree with you on all, believing that NAMES on the 4th line would boost 4th line scoring, including giving the Jets a 4th line that could easily play 10 minutes per forward without any fear from the Coaching Staff including being one of the best 4th lines in the NHL. Just my thoughts and opinion, roast myself if anyone wants to. I’m okay with being roasted, no hard feelings will be felt. Cheers All, 2b9😃👍

Jets fans with a little more bounce in there step [ And they should have Tim. Different team and team dynamic leads to a different "feel". Last year we in the same position in points and standing in the central, and succeeding in spite of our play. This year we are succeeding because of ourplay. And that is what makes it feel better. I sure hope that's all we have in common with 22-23 performance after this point.

Apparently a disgruntled Laine may be on his way soon to la Belle Province Too bad. I thought much of his disgruntlement here was the locker room banter and pressure from two or more players. Now in the space of what, 5 years, he is on his way to a 3rd team, it the rumour is true. If so, maybe the 3rd time will be a charm for him.

He simply does not work hard enough. When he was younger one could attribute this to his age, but there is no excuse now. He would rather play Fortnite than work on his game.

Scott Billick in the Sun pronounced this iteration of the Jets the best ever! Since 2011. Yikes that maybe a waaay to soon pronouncement. It could provoke some instant karma from the hockey gods. So if the Jets go into a swoon you know who to blame. But I kinda like his positive note. However we need 1 or 2 big D men to meet that expectation.
