First off, I'm all about having fun and enjoying myself at a hockey game. I love the energy we've seen so far at the MTS Centre. I'm thrilled the Jets are back. My season ticket is in P6, Row 5, aisle seat. I've attended two preseason games thus far and have noticed several disturbing things. There are many inconsiderate, selfish fans in my section. Firstly, people in my row are constantly getting up and leaving their seat during the game. Some of these idiots got up and came back to their seat 4 or 5 times during each period. What gives?? Got diarrhea?? You are annoying and ignorant. People in the rows in front of me feel they can stand up when the play is in our end of the ice. I had to yell at these morons to sit down several times last night, but the message didn't really sink in. Really folks have a bit of consideration and respect for your fellow fans. I am going to try and get a different seat, even if I have to pay more, or if this continues I will sell the seat and watch the games at home.

I think that something is wrong with the draft beer. I am serious. I had to go the washroom 10 times during the game and my buddy went 8 times. I am lucky to have aisle seats.

there were 3 couples beside me on wednesdays game, and they were constantly getting up back and forth, and werent even in the seats half the game. didnt bother me much, they were pretty considerate on the timing of their walk abouts. i was way more annoyed with the couple in front of me that said people were being too loud!

to start off I will say I do agree with you on a couple points, but before i get into it, I do think your going a bit overboard here. I agree that too many people get up and leave during the period. I saw someone actually get up and leave the moment the puck dropped for the 3rd period. I mean seriously? Why the hell are you even at the game? However when it comes to standing up, selling tickets and watching it on TV? That is a bit much. What I noticed is that due to the angle of the seats everyone needs to lean forward to see past the next guy. It all starts down on row one. Now if someone in row 2 can't see that well their initial reaction is to stand a bit and its a domino effect. There were many times there was a huge moment and we were about to see a great hockey play and then we have no view. Annoying? Absolutely. Would I give up my seat for something this special. NO FREAKING WAY! Part of the experience of going to a game is the people we are around. Some people are annoying, some people are not. I dont think changing seats is going to change your experience unless its row 1. Just don't lean forward

I can assure you that no pesky fans will bother you during the game.

Well if you want to sell your seat to me for Sunday I will happily live with the interruptions.
In all seriousness though, I have aisle seats for Bombers games. And that's just the cost of doing business when you sit on the aisle. There's a lot of pluses to it as well. My 1/4 Jets season are right mid section and it relatively sucks. Especially with the intermission washroom situation in the upper bowl. I can't really go during the period because I would have to walk in front of 8 people. So I have to take the boy during intermissions and that's a mess. I guess I would rather be the inconveniency than the inconveniencer.

If I have to sit there getting frustrated all night, I'll sell the seat and stay home. I've attend other sporting events across North America and never experienced these problems. The 2 pre season games I've attended so far have been the worst in regards to inconsiderate fans. By the way the MTS Centre is a sub par facility and the problems I mention are in part due to the fact the sightlines in the upper bowl are awful. These railings are giving fans who paid good money major headaches.

Hey gobombersgo, how are your seats and the fans around you??? I bet you'd be bitching too if you wern't happy. Stop trying to paint me as the bad guy here. How about we switch seats for a game or two. I know, I should just be happy with what I got, right??? There have been others on the forum upset with the seats they had to settle with, and with fans leaning/standing in front of them unable to see.

Hey stay home then or switch seats with people who are smack in the middle of your row that way you never have to get up to let people thru.

There are inconsiderate people at every sporting event.
The majority of people have a "me first" and "I am a victim" attitude.
I have learned that you just have to deal with it.

We have aisle seats and have experienced similar things to czdrummer1. But, the only time I really get upset at people moving around is if it's during play. I make sure to let them know that they're being very annoying to all the fans above and around them.
If they do it at the 5, 10, or 15 minutes TV time-outs, I'm totally fine with it (even if I have had to catch one of my fellow season ticket holders from falling down the seats in front of me...and almost went down with him). And the usher doesn't let them come up during play, so I appreciate that!
It's an inconvenience; but I think it's minor compared to how awesome it is to have seasons and be in the building. But if they're leaving during play, I think you have every right to speak up and make a stink.

It's faster to take a wiz mid period, less line ups. You selected you isle seat so deal with it, or don't....I know lots of people that would gladly buy those seats off you. The upper bowl is very much like the East side at Bomber games, people just want to have some fun at the games, I am one of them. Here is a solution if someone stands up in front of you. You stand up as well, cheer your ass off and let loose for a few hours.

They stand up, you drop it in the middle of their seat. They sit down and the fun begins. People will be wondering if they Crap themsleves.....

You want an aisle seat? Expect to get up often. Quit your whining. I'm in P6 as well and have no problems. The beer lines and bathrooms are idioted in the intermissions so of course people are going to get in during the game. I wait till the red light but whatever. You shoulda got middle of the row instead of the aisle I wanted because I do get up during commercial breaks to get beer and take a piss. I fricken hate aisle people complaining about people getting up. I also stand up on scoring chances and fights... not because I'm ignorant but because I'm excited. I hope our section is loud. There were girls behind talking the whole time but who cares. It ain't a movie... focus on the game.
