First of all the thread was not meant in anyway to be panicking or jumpimg off the bandwagon etc, it was only placed here in view of what came out of Phoenix etc. I am not bashing Winnipeg at all. Yea its cold, but the best hockey town in the NHL. I was just wondering if there are any thoughts as to any players that don`t seem to want to be here. There are two decks of cards the players hold in the NHL. One they deal to the media the other to there close friends You said it yourself...certain thoughts are expressed only to close friends or not made to the media or in public...this topic is all speculation...it is a truism that some players will prefer playing in certain places and prefer not playing/living in other places...but there is no recent relevant news to discuss on this topic...since there is no news, there isn't much to discuss other than speculate on a negative topic...we allowed it for a few days in the main section....and if ppl want to continue they can do so for now here...

I find the subject of this thread should have occurred at the beginning of the season; when people would post things based on speculation. The seasons' already started, we have our first win (in case no one noticed) and the guys in the room want to be in the NHL playing in front of sold out crowds chanting their names -- guess what, it's tough to deny it but that's what they got! How 'bout we celebrate that for the rest of today, by posting some positive posts that *can* be substantiated, then focus on the next game...Toronto...you know, focus one game at a time. That's what the players do. Along that lines....I think Toronto is ripe for the pickin' -- they're lustre is starting to dull and Reimer didn't exactly have a great game last night -- which means the Toronto Media will be all over them. Yup...I think we can steal another one and see ourselves w/ back-to-back wins. I agree. I think Toronto is just plain due for a loss, plus they're clearly not as good as their record right now. And I know, you said take it one day at a time but after the beat the Leafs, the Sens suck so this could be a 3 game streak so long as we can take down Toronto!
