I am starting to think there are some players who don`t want to be here. I hope I am wrong. Two things, they say one thing to the media, and one they keep close to there chest. Antripov for one needs to go. Bigg Buff might be another one wanting out....Whats your take

Did you see the The Thing prequel on Friday, or what!?

If any players wanted out, they'd be out right now.

Agree with Antripov....that was the slowest penalty shot ever. lol
But i dont think that is the case... i dont know what the answer is, we have to stop looking like an AHL team though.

I am not being paranoid at all and I will agree to give them a year, but from what I am seeing where is the aggression, forcheck, and challenge for the puck, I can see why Toronto got rid of Antripov

Actually, the thought crossed my mind yesterday that Enstrom is playing like he doesn't want to be here. He certainly doesn't come as advertised so far.

^Byfuglien looked a helluva lot less inspired than Enstrom to me.

^Byfuglien looked a helluva lot less inspired than Enstrom to me. Don't get me wrong, nobody has looked all that great so far, but perhaps I expected much more out of Enstrom. Byfuglien is Byfuglien, but it would be nice if he would actually hit someone or something like he did in the first 30 seconds of the game against Columbus.

See, the only thing I see wrong with Enstrom is he's not allowed to play his game. He's always covering for guys out of position. I thought he was one of our more consistent players through 3 games. Example: last game he made a crisp pass to Ladd (I think it was Ladd...) and looked to be working a give and go, so he takes off. Forward coughs up the puck, now Enstrom has to scramble back.

i just think the guys are each trying to do to much. they all want to be the hero, put on a show, and impress in the new town. we all know that when you have 20 players trying to do this, we wont get anywhere they will figure it out shortly. a spark is needed to quickly to turn this around. not saying a cup run is immenant, but a few extra points from last season is not out of the question. remember how this team was after christmas??? it has carried over a bit it seems...

The Jets just need to get that first win out of the way in order to settle in. I don't buy into all this negativity. I think the players are continuing on their losing ways like they finished last season.
We have a team that tanked in the second half of last season, and I think there's a reason for that. The team learned an ineffective style of play from Craig Ramsay. Noel has his hands full trying to turn this team around. The least we can do as fans is to allow the coaching staff some time to settle in and establish their own system.
Noel is known to be a defense first type of coach, and after three games, the team's defense has not been great. IMO, that tells me Noel has not yet had time to ingrain his style onto the team's style of play. If this team is losing 5-1 every night in December, I'll change my tune, but after three games I think I can cut the team some slack.

I don`t want it too sound negative, just more of an observation. After all who did watch alot of Atlanta last year to see if this is the way they played last year. I am just seeing some glaring issues. They need to get angry much like the Bomber D, well ok no tackling but aggression.

Nope. This isn't why we are 3-0.
And I don't get all the criticism of Antropov...he seems to be an easy target, but he hasn't been the worst player at all. He actually has had a a few scoring opportunities and is more noticeable out there than some invisible forwards. He does appears slow, but he's always appeared that way, not just since joining the Jets. He's a big guy at 6'6.
Edit: what has Evander Kane done out there? A lot of people were saying he's ready to breakout and become the next Iginla. Why? Because he shares some heritage? He's been invisible and is hardly getting any criticism either...puzzling how he gets pumped up but a free pass when he does nothing.
