Little Mug Restaurant in the Fort Richmond Mall, its closed now, but it was the best little spot! Oh the memories of going their for lunch during lunch hour while I was at FRC!!! It's been closed for sometime now too. I have to go with Original Joes as one of my favorites (not too fancy and prices quite reasonable). It's nice to go someplace without kids!!

I've heard the mall is slated to undergo some major renovations in the next couple of years. Right now all it has is a Safeway and Zellers. The vacancy rate is pretty high. My favorite memory of that area was to head down to Mr. Sub during lunch, and grab a sub from Frankie, the Egyptian owner. It's a shame Subway moved in the area around 1992, and Mr.Sub eventually closed.

I too loved going to Little Mug for lunch, however my times were right at the end of its run. I graduated from there in 2007.

Unfortunately IMO The Wagon Wheel (which was fabulous in the day) has lost a step. Was there last month for the first time in decades, and it just wasn't up to par. Like the Whip in St. Boniface. That used to be one of the highlights of my trips back home, but within the last couple of years things changed. Driven past Superboys hundreds of times. Thanks to this thread, I'll be stopping in one of these days!!!! Better be good or I'll be letting you guys have it!!! Superboys are great. Just get a lot of napkins, really messy. Made it to Superboys today!! Was a pretty good burger, but yeah, it's messy as all Hell! Couldn't imagine trying to eat one in the car! lol

Dairy Delight on St Annes, great burgers Not just great burgers but the best I have ever had anywhere! Mrs. Mikes across from the Norwood Hotel is nearly identical as well.

Dairy Delight and Mrs.Mikes are the same family if im not mistaken. And yes, Dairy Delight is the best burger, fries and milkshake place in the city without a doubt! For Pizza its gott go to Lisi's Ranch house on Main St. Pricey but well worth it!
